#Shibuntu rules, practices and us
Version 1.3, this version can evolve.
Origin & Preamble :
O) Shibuntu for Shibari & Ubuntu – Shi… Buntu – Shi…Buntu. For the « U » sound in the spirit of « Bulle » / Bubble.
Shibari means in Japanese « to tie » which comes from the #ShibariClassic heritage.
Ubuntu means in Bantu « the link », approximately: « I am what I am thanks to what you are ».
It is used for the Mind in Free software ; Linux for these « « OpenSource » reasons, of mutual help, sharing and collaboration.
By extension of his practice the #Shibuntu is the way that connects the person who ropes with the one who is tied.
Shibuntu is geared towards altruism and selflessness and not self-seeking or self-improvement,
He is not competitive, he wants to be centered towards others as much as towards himself and outside the ropes.
It is practiced, for the most part, on a modest scale and calls for humility.
P) « Between consenting adults »
– Adults : Which means no practices with minors under the age of 18 without any exception rule,
As well as protected adults (within the meaning of article 425 of French law or its transcription into the law of the country in which it is practiced.)
– Consenting : Meaning that there is consent.
In the practice of Shibuntu consent is an irrefutable preamble.
Consent can only be « informed », from an agreement of wills between two or more people.
If consent is obtained under duress regardless of its moral or physical form : it is not consent.
If consent is obtained by default, negligence, vice, or deception : it is not consent.
In the practice of Shibuntu consent must be communicated : before, during and after the exercise of Shibuntu.
If a person says « stop » ; it’s stop.
If the ropes have to be cut ; the ropes are cut.
Is called #Shibuntu, the pratices of ropes as follows :
Rule N°1 only one : SAFETY
Shibuntu is practiced in safety : by respecting its rules and prohibiting the endangerment of others.
Shibuntu is practiced in serenity and in a safe environment.
– Alcohol, narcotics and fatigue are not compatible with the practice of Shibuntu.
– The Shibuntu must be practiced with something that can cut the ropes.
The object must be visible to the roped person and must remain within easy reach.
Precepts : SEXUALITY & SUFFERING
The Shibuntu
– He’s not sexual.
– He does not practice suffering.
Sexualization and Suffering in any form are not in the spirit of Shibuntu.

either of a novice person who does not have the knowledge of what he is doing,
or from a malicious person.

They will be able to put a small warning message for example.
Thus avoiding having the shock of a first image… (too much) explicit.
